Storyblok in Depth. Led by an MVP Builder.

Storyblok combines headless CMS flexibility with a visual editor non-technical teams can operate confidently. We're one of the DACH region’s most experienced implementation teams.

    Why Storyblok

And Who It’s the Right Choice For

Storyblok is the headless CMS that content teams genuinely love. The visual editor – the platform’s defining feature – allows editors to edit pages in a live preview without needing to understand component structures or content models. This makes Storyblok particularly suited to organisations where marketing and editorial teams need to work without constant developer involvement.

Planning a Storyblok Project? We Come with MVP-Level Expertise.

Whether a new project, a migration, or support for an existing Storyblok instance – we combine deep platform knowledge with practical experience from real enterprise projects. An initial conversation costs nothing and brings clarity.

At the same time, Storyblok is fully API-first as a headless CMS – developers can connect any frontend stack. The component-based content model is easy to understand, quick to extend, and scales from a marketing website to a multi-brand enterprise hub. With Storyblok and an experienced implementation partner, the result is a platform that keeps both developers and editors comfortable.

    What We Build with Storyblok

Storyblok is versatile. These are the use cases where we deploy it most often.

    • Corporate Websites & Group Presences

Modern, multilingual corporate websites for global companies – with structured content, career integrations, and a CMS that non-technical editors can operate confidently.

    • Multi-Brand Content Hubs

A single Storyblok instance as the shared foundation for multiple brand websites – shared components, brand-specific content, one editorial team. The BBDS platform shows what this looks like in practice.

    • Marketing Websites with a Focus on Visual Quality

Storyblok’s visual editor enables marketing teams to create and maintain high-quality, design-consistent pages independently – without developer involvement for routine changes.

    • Platforms with Live Data Integrations

Websites that require real-time data from external systems – weather data, lift status, job feeds, product data – integrated through Storyblok as the central content and presentation layer.

    • Replatforming from WordPress & TYPO3

Migration of outdated CMS platforms to Storyblok – with careful component model design, structured content migration, and ongoing operations after go-live.

    • Multi-Language & Multi-Market

Storyblok architectures for clients with multiple languages and markets – using Storyblok’s Dimensions App for cross-locale content management.

Frequently Asked Questions About Storyblok and Our Partnership

Answers to the questions we hear most often.

Both are headless CMS – but with different strengths. Storyblok’s greatest strength is the visual editor: editors modify pages in a live preview and see changes immediately. This makes Storyblok particularly suited to marketing teams who want to work editorially independently. Contentful is more structured and enterprise-grade – better suited for very complex content architectures, multi-channel delivery, and deep integration requirements. Bright Global offers expertise in both platforms and can help with an honest assessment of which fits a specific project better.

Our Storyblok Expertise – Across the Full Project Lifecycle

From platform selection to ongoing operations – we guide Storyblok projects through every phase.

Planning & Platform Selection: Is Storyblok the Right Fit?

We help clients evaluate Storyblok honestly – including in comparison with other headless CMS platforms such as Contentful. Storyblok is the stronger choice when the visual editor is a high priority for the editorial team, when projects need to be delivered with fast launch cycles, or when a multi-brand content hub with shared components and brand-specific presences is the goal. We guide platform evaluations with technical depth and give a clear recommendation – even when that recommendation is against Storyblok.

    Content Modelling: Components That Scale

The heart of every Storyblok project is the component design. Well-designed Storyblok components are intuitive for editors, flexible enough for future requirements, and structured so they can be reused across multiple websites and brands. Poorly designed components lead to editorial chaos and expensive rework. We develop Storyblok component libraries for projects of every size – from individual marketing websites to multi-brand hubs with 100+ reusable blocks. For Bergbahnen Dachstein Salzkammergut we built a library of 100+ marketing blocks available simultaneously across all five brand websites.

Implementation: From Visual Design to Production Readiness

We deliver complete Storyblok implementations – from initial space configuration and component modelling through to full frontend integration. Our implementations make maximum use of Storyblok’s visual editor: we build components so editors see the result of their changes immediately in the live preview – without a deploy cycle. For multi-site projects we configure Storyblok spaces and space families so that shared content can be distributed organisation-wide while each brand retains its own presence. Every implementation includes complete staging and production environments, a CI/CD pipeline, and editor training.

Integrations: Storyblok as Part of a Larger System

Storyblok is at its strongest as part of a well-chosen technology ecosystem. We integrate Storyblok with third-party systems of all kinds: job feed systems for career integrations, live data sources such as weather APIs, lift status, and webcam feeds for tourism platforms, ERP and CRM systems, marketing automation tools. A particular integration pattern: we synchronise data from external systems into Storyblok so editors can enrich and publish that data in their familiar CMS environment – without touching the source system and without creating performance dependencies in the live infrastructure.

Operations, Extension & Replatforming: The Partnership After Go-live

We remain the technical point of contact after go-live: for proactive platform care, Storyblok version updates, extending the component library, rolling out new brands or languages, and content migrations. Since Bright Global also handles hosting and DevOps for many Storyblok clients, communication is short: one contact for CMS, frontend, and infrastructure. We also support replatforming projects – migrations from WordPress, TYPO3, or other CMS platforms to Storyblok – and are the honest adviser when the time comes to think about the next platform decision.

    Storyblok MVP Builder

Storyblok recognises particularly engaged and knowledgeable members of its developer community with the title MVP Builder. The programme is not a partnership status acquired through revenue volume – it is recognition for active contribution to the Storyblok community: through open-source projects, expert content, tutorials, and demonstrated delivery of significant implementations on the platform.

Klaus Unterkircher, founder and CEO of Bright Global, is a Storyblok MVP Builder. For clients this means: your Storyblok project is led by someone whom Storyblok itself has identified as one of the leading practitioners in the ecosystem. Not a marketing claim – an external recognition.
