Nearshoring 2.0: EU Engineering Without Compromise

Not offshore. A tightly integrated, owner-led engineering team across two EU locations, one timezone, and one shared standard of quality.

    Six Facts About Our Model

No marketing promises. Six operational realities you can verify.

    • One Timezone. No Async Communication.

Innsbruck and Wrocław are both in CET/CEST – without a time difference from our DACH clients. Meetings, code reviews, and decisions happen in real time, not as overnight message sequences.

    • 100% EU Jurisdiction. GDPR-Native.

All data, all systems, all contracts are subject to EU law. No third-country transfers, no compliance trade-offs. For DACH enterprises with strict data protection and procurement requirements, this is not a bonus – it is the prerequisite.

    • 100% In-House Team. No Rotating Freelancers.

Wrocław is not a pool. It is permanently employed engineers with an average of 6+ years tenure. You always work with the same people – and they know your context without you having to explain it every time.

    • One of Central Europe’s Strongest Tech Hubs

Wrocław is home to several major technically-focused universities and one of the fastest-growing tech ecosystems in the EU. Internationally operating engineering teams, high English proficiency, and an engineering culture built on precision.

    • Communication in English – or German if Preferred

All project discussions, documentation, and technical reviews are conducted in English. For DACH clients who prefer to communicate in German, this is available at any time through the Austrian team – without translation loss.

    • Owner-Led. No External Investor Agenda.

Bright Global is owner-led and independent. There are no private equity growth targets that could lead to the introduction of junior teams or changes to the model. What you see today is what you still get in three years.

The Most Common Concerns – and the Reality Behind Them

We hear these questions regularly. Here are honest answers.

Polish engineering education is among the most respected in Europe. Our Wrocław team has worked with enterprise clients in DACH, Benelux, and the UK for years. The projects they deliver – including global platforms for companies like Swarovski Optik or HDI Global – speak for themselves. Quality is a matter of company culture, not geography.

    What Makes This ‘Nearshoring 2.0’

Classical nearshoring solves a cost problem. Our model solves a quality problem.

The classical nearshoring promise is simple: cheaper development in geographical proximity. That sounds good until you discover that ‘near’ does not mean ‘integrated.’ Many nearshoring models are de facto outsourcing – with a Viennese sales office at the front and an unknown pool of rotating developers behind it. Our model is structurally different. Innsbruck and Wrocław are not separate units.

There is no Austrian ‘strategy side’ and a Polish ‘execution side.’ Both locations are fully embedded in projects, both carry strategic and technical responsibility, and both teams know each other – not as a document, but personally. The result: a team that maintains the same engineering depth over time, because there is no revolving door and no hierarchy between the locations.

    Two Locations. One Engineering Culture.

    • Austria

Our Austrian team is the strategic core: direct client contact with DACH enterprises, senior advisory, and project responsibility. Austria is also the founding location of Bright Global – here the institutional experience of 19+ years of enterprise projects is anchored. The team in Austria is working fully remotely, reflecting the wide spread of our clients.

    • Poland

Wrocław is one of Poland’s most significant technology locations – with a strong university landscape, an established international tech ecosystem, and an engineering culture built on methodical, long-term thinking. Our team here is fully embedded in Bright Global projects – not as a supplier, but as an equal part of the team. Many of our longest client relationships are primarily managed by the Wrocław team.
