The Problem: Heat Pump Noise as a Purchase Barrier
Heat pumps are the future of home heating – but their acceptance suffers from a simple fact: they produce operational noise, and prospective buyers cannot form an accurate picture of it before purchase. This created concerns rooted not in fact but in uncertainty. Vaillant wanted to dissolve that uncertainty – with a digital tool that makes the real sound of different models at different distances experienceable before a purchasing decision is made.
