The Dachstein region, known for its impressive scenery, is a popular destination for visitors from all over the world. In an effort to make this rich offer of culture, nature and culinary delights even more appealing to international travellers, those responsible have created a new umbrella brand. Several companies are now united under one banner under the "Bergbahnen Dachstein Salzkammergut" brand. These include OÖ Seilbahnholding, which operates the Feuerkogel, Krippenstein, Dachstein West and Grünberg cable cars, and Bergbahnen Dachstein West GmbH, which is responsible for the Rußbach and Annaberg areas.
The Dachstein West, Feuerkogel, Grünberg and Dachstein Krippenstein brands have now also been standardized as part of the definition of the new, modern and unifying brand identity of the umbrella brand. For this reason, the respective websites were also to be harmonized accordingly on the basis of a new common design system. The existing design of the Dachstein West website was defined as the starting point, which was consolidated and adapted accordingly for use in all brand presences.
The resulting need to migrate all websites also made it possible to transfer all content to a shared editorial environment based on Storyblok and to put the entire technical basis in the background on a new footing. All migrated websites now have a cutting-edge headless architecture that simplifies future changes and extensions (e.g. in the direction of store connections and other third-party systems) and thus continuously improves the digital customer experience.
